Forum: oldtimeradio Subject: Anyone have any infomation on Rudy Vallee disc jockey show circa 1950?

I was watching an episode of "Texaco Star Theater" from February 1950, and Rudy Vallee was guest. They mentioned that Rudy had a disc jockey show "on another network" (based on a joke Milton made, the network was Mutual. Pretty strange that Uncle Miltie got away with mentioning another network).

Anyone have any info on this show, like a confirmation that it aired on Mutual, how long it ran, do recordings survive, etc etc...

Not that it's really important, it's just that I'm a person obsessed with media and am kinda curious about this show. Any info would be much appreciated.

The Dunning book says that this version of the Rudy Vallee show was on from Feb 20 1950 - April 27 1951
